Climate change is severely affecting Central and Southern Europe, with grasslands losing their ability to produce fodder in the summer. By professional grassland assessment and better planning of grazing, the period for it can be extended. The focus of the Cross Visit will be to demonstrate the use of an innovative digital advisory tools that supports farmers' decisions in animal husbandry.

Registration
You will be asked to provide some personal information, a brief description of your interest in joining this visit and your capacity in covering your travel costs. Participation is not guaranteed, because the number of advisors who may join the visit is limited. Participants taking part will receive a confirmation message.
First-round registration deadline: 30 July 2025; Confirmation of application: 07 August 2025
The registration deadline might be extended in case of undersubscription.
Costs
In case you do not have budget to cover your travel costs, BioAcademy as advisory partner/subcontractor in the Netherlands has at the moment still the opportunity to reimburse part of your travel costs. Eligible costs for reimbursement are transport (train, bus, flight), accomodation (2-3 nights), social lunch and dinners up to a limit of € 800,-. (Travel max € 300,- / Accomodation max € 300,- / lunch/dinners max € 200,-)
Costs during the cross visit are estimated to € 350,- - € 400,- including for breakfasts, social lunch & dinner & activity as well as the accomodation for 2 nights.
